PALS Pet of the Week – Ranger

PALS Pet of Week - Ranger .5

Meet Ranger, our PALS Pet of the Week!

Ranger is an approximately 5 month old, neutered male, Shepherd/Labrador/Border Collie mix; Ranger weighs approximately 45 lbs. This happy and energetic puppy is one of three brothers that PALS rescued together. Ranger is an incredibly happy and energetic puppy that loves meeting new people and making new friends; he is pretty outgoing, so once you’ve passed his sniff test, you’ll be greeted with a constantly wagging tail and plenty of puppy kisses. Ranger really enjoys his time in our play yard, where he can run and goof off to his heart’s content, and he seems to especially love it when our volunteers join in with him and race him up and down the yard! And, after burning off some energy, Ranger always finds a nice spot in the shade to relax and cool off and just hang out. Ranger is a bit of a playful goofball, but he’s also very intelligent, and one of our volunteers had him sitting, rolling over, and even high-fiving after just a few short training sessions; continued obedience training along with daily exercise is highly recommended to help engage Ranger both mentally, as well as physically, and help him become a model K-9 citizen. If you’d like to give Ranger the active and loving home that he needs, please come in and meet him!
